We deliver high quality digital content and video production adding value for our clients.
Industry-leading software produces technically accurate content based on real world dimensions, providing the opportunity to investigate, visualise and simulate a variety of operations and processes. We offer the opportunity to scale the content to suit your requirements, from high-level marketing material through to in depth feasibility studies.
We can deploy on any platform from 4k large format video screens to AR or VR headsets. We have delivered content design for 360⁰ column display screens and super large format detailed print.
Working with our Design and Draughting teams we can rely on technical expertise across multiple engineering disciplines to inform our content, sense checking your product and maintaining our unique position in the marketplace.
Our experienced team can expedite your design project from concept to completion. We carefully consider your requirements, constraints and overall business objectives. This way you can have confidence in our ability to meet your project expectations.
With multi-discipline experience and project delivery expertise we are focused on managing projects, delivering key milestones whilst identifying and mitigating risk ahead of time.
We invest in the latest survey equipment to ensure the appropriate kit is available for our clients exacting requirements. We operate Z&F and Faro Laser Scanners, Leica Total Stations and Matterport 360⁰ cameras to deliver a full range of survey solutions.
3D Laser Scanning
Our HD colour laser scanners capture more than 1 million points per second to produce 3d point clouds. We create dimensionally accurate 3D CAD models from the point clouds which are used for many applications……clash checking equipment installation or removal routes, designing interface positions for new engineering supports or process pipework, transfer to animation packages to create safety or sales sequences the list is endless.
Dimensional Control Surveys
Using the latest high tech precision survey equipment we perform Dimensional Control surveys to obtain highly accurate dimensional data for all fields of work, from offshore brownfield projects & repair orders to onshore Hydro Dams, from Tie-in flange deviations to fully detailed corridor surveys.
Photogrammetry 360⁰ Surveys & Tours
When accurate dimensional data is secondary to overall capture 360⁰ photogrammetry is the most efficient, effective method to survey existing buildings, processes and assets. We can reduce the time / cost of surveying a site for general arrangement purposes by 80%. We also use photogrammetry for compliance checking process facilities reducing site visit requirements by 50%.
We employ experts in all major CAD packages AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks, Intergraph & Everything3D.
We host and update digital twins of client’s assets on dedicated servers in our offices with robust automatic Cloud backups.
We support clients with safety critical Red Line Mark Up (RLMU) contracts ensuring compliance at all times in line with HSE requirements.
We conduct compliance reviews on client’s existing records reporting on shortfalls and rectifying as required.
We produce drawing content in compliance with all recognised standards for structural, mechanical, process, electrical, control & instrumentation scopes
We operate a rigorous checking system which is never circumnavigated.
Whatever your draughting requirement we have the experienced personnel to deliver.
Cadherent (like most other concerned planet citizens) are doing our bit for the improvement of the environmental crisis. We have followed the commitments made by World leaders at COP28 Dubai, UAE, and we continue to make changes.
We operate out of a period office building in North Esplanade West, Aberdeen. It has a striking grade C listed frontage, rich in history, having been built in 1937 for a Mineral Water Company. We have extensively renovated the building since its purchase in 2014. As is the nature of an old building, we still have some way to go to ensure we minimise the environmental footprint. Following an extensive energy assessment carried out by Resource Efficient Scotland in 2019 it was found there was a significant shortfall in energy efficiency. We committed at this time to invest in improving the efficiency of the facility to a net-zero or beyond position as soon as reasonably possible. We have since replaced all the lighting in the car park, replaced the central and water heating systems with energy efficient units, removed all antiquated roof lighting and fully insulated the roof and the external walls.
In 2020, we replaced all petrol driven pool cars in favour of shared fleet electric vehicles, we also committed to only purchase electric company vehicles moving forward.
Cadherent have a strong environmental responsibility position, having operated a minimum paper office system from inception. We used to think there was no replacement for paper in a document (drawing) checking procedure. We have however recently updated this thinking and introduced a fully electronic robust document and drawing checking system which allows us to continue on our move to a completely paper free environment. All waste streams created by Cadherent are weighed and our recycling rates are monitored versus landfill, this allows us to continually reduce our landfill impact. Our waste handling partner is committed to minimise landfill and utilises Waste to Energy solutions with our waste. Cadherent are proud to be accredited by the Good Business Charter who recognise responsible business behaviour in 10 key areas including Environmental Responsibility. We have operated as Cadherent since 2006. We have an impressive client retention record and put this down to the fact that we honestly care as much about our clients projects as they do.
We always aim to grow and love onboarding new clients whenever we can. If you are yet to work with us, please get in touch and find out why our client relationships are so strong.

We are happy to say that we are the current custodians of this building! Since moving in back in 2014, Cadherent has transformed the interior with modern open-plan offices across two floors, a car park, and break areas. Renovations are continuing without losing the distinctive look of the exterior!
Recently, we welcomed a couple of the building’s previous owners, who shared stories from their time here as we gave them a tour of the offices.
We would also like to share a couple photographs of the building throughout its history. We are not too sure when these photos were taken, so we would appreciate any help in figuring it out!The Category C listed former Caretakers House of Aberdeen Mineral Water Company. The building was constructed by builders John Bisset & Sons circa 1937. The building was added on to the front of the Aberdeen Mineral Water Co. factory on North Esplanade West. The near-symmetrical building features a broken curvilinear gable and a triangular oriel window at the centre above the primary entrance. #aberdeenheritage #HESSupported ... See MoreSee Less
